Overview
A leading manufacturer of brass valves, fittings and distribution manifolds for plumbing, gas and heating systems worldwide. What began in 2022 as a targeted performance rescue grew into a two-year technical partnership — a full hosting migration, a 70-to-12 plugin debloat, and three regional storefronts built around market-specific catalogues.

01
The Challenge
The global site was in critical condition: chronic 503 errors, a mobile PageSpeed score of 43, and a shared host delivering TTFB above 2 seconds. 70+ active plugins, 10 MB PNGs and a 200 MB homepage video meant the site crashed under its own weight.
Valogin also needed storefronts for Brazil, China and the Gulf — not translations of one catalogue, but distinct sites for products made specifically for each region, each with its own design language, WooCommerce structure and hosting.

Technical Execution — 01
Phase 1 — Global rescue
Full backup, then migration to LiteSpeed — cutting TTFB from 2s+ to sub-200ms. 70+ plugins audited down to 12, images batch-converted to WebP, the homepage video re-encoded to WebM and the DOM rebuilt to reduce render-blocking depth.

Phase 2 — Regional architecture
Brazil and China rebuilt on dedicated servers with independent catalogues; the Gulf built as a sub-directory with its own layout. No templated clones — each with its own information architecture and product filtering.

04
The Outcome
A performance fix became a multi-year partnership. The global site now runs stable and fast on infrastructure built to scale, and the client extended the engagement twice — first for the regional sites, then to maintain the architecture as the range grew. Handed off in 2024.
